Goat Meat Production - Farm to Feedlot to You

CCC

Chevon Cuts

The drive for quality does not begin when the animals arrive at our finishing facility. CCC is proud to be part of the entire integrated process from beginning to end. CCC works directly with individual producers on a one to one basis that enables us to carefully monitor the animals which will eventually go to the consumer. This program consists of high genetic selection, complete herd health, proper feed, forage selection, and intense management practices. CCC is thus able to forward contract animals so that there is always a high quality and consistent supply available. Fifty pound stocker goats are then placed on improved organic, high-quality grasslands. After sixty days and sufficient gain they are transported to our complete finishing facilities. There they will spend the next thirty days in large paddocks and be fed an organic high-protein supplement. This process results in a completely finished ten-month animal with excellent carcass characteristics.
